Heritage Arts Productions, Inc, supports the music that until now has been handed down from our talented parents,
grandparents, and other ethnic influences. We plan to add to this natural process by encouraging the sharing of these talents from
professional to student.
Heritage Arts has commissioned Houston Accordion Performers to initiate their enrollment for button and keyboard accordionists. This will include weekly group & private of lessons for adults
and youth. Bring your accordion - or we have New and Used at below market prices. (Layaway available) The student will learn to read
music, be able to perform 10 to 12 solos, and will have the opportunity to show off at our monthly Accordion Jams.
Our selected instructors are leading professionals in the Houston area. There will be visiting performers as well as in-house
instructors. There are fantastic performers that inspire us - but they sometimes don't understand the difficulties that beginners
encounter - that is where the combination of our staff of professional instructors, which are performing entertainers and visiting performers -

There will be an entire day of Competitions AND Jam Sessions
Professional and Youth Bands will perform and contestants and attendees are encouraged to bring their accordions and PLAY IN! ON THE JAM STAGE & Fantastic Outdoor Gazebo area

1. All ages (4 to 99 yrs old - there is category for 61 and older!),
2. All accordions (Button, Chromatic, Piano Keyboard, Cajun/Zydeko),
3. All styles (Norteno, Conjunto, Vallenato, German, Italian, Bohemian, Celtic, Zydeco, Cajun, etc.)
4. Semi-Professional and amateur! (if you support your family playing - please come an particiapte in Jam Sessions)
5. Polka Division and a Pop/Jazz Division as well in Dallas
TWO COMPETITIONS in ONE
First - SOLO COMPETITION ($10 Entry) - compete on your accordion by type accordion and style music - by your age
Second - JamFEST OPEN TITLE ($25 Entry) - compete within your age bracket - with multiple songs!
