10:00 to 10:30 Brunch - Meet & Greet Alex
10:30 - 12:20 - Polka basics - simple stylings - How to play solo and accompaniment in band settings in different Polka styles - including but not limited to- Czech, American-Slovenian, Oberkrainer, German, Polish, and more.
Session #2 - $40
12:30 - Lunch break
1:00 - 3:00 - Waltz (Schottische & other dances) - simple stylings - Depending on the skill and desire of the participants, Alex will discuss repertoire in a variety of ethnic folk styles, ideas for ornamentation and arranging.

5:30 - 6:00 Dinner - Meet & Greet Alex
6:00 - 7:50 Learn the similarities and differences of the Austrian folk styles and Conjunto styles as they have developed and evolved in Texas and in the Indian rhythms indigenous to Mexico.
