The Texas Folk Life Organization hosted their annual King of Squeeze competition this year with a final concert called "Accordion Kings & Queens" - On June 5. 2010 at Miller Outdoor Theater in Houston, there was an invitation for ALL accordion players to participate in a PRE-SHOW Jam Session (See home Page for You Tube Slide Show). Shelia created a collection of simple accordion arrangements and Mario Pedone created back tracks for this performance. The accordionists that performed - downloaded the sheet music and
back tracks to practice with and had a blast performing - UN-REHEARSED!If they could play along with the accompaniment - they were comfortable playing along.
